24 hours. 365 days a year. Gastronomy at the highest level

The name Rubenbauer has stood for gastronomy at the highest level for more than 50 years. With a clear concept for urban center branches at major train stations, as well as in the Allianz Arena (FCB), and at the traditional inn “Donisl” on Munich’s Marienplatz, which inspire thousands of satisfied guests every day, 365 days a year, around the clock. In the classic shopping area, in the restaurants as well as in the takeaways and sports catering businesses, the flexible Zucchetti’s POS solution TCPOS and the powerful AURES cash register systems are in constant use.

Since the first day there has been no failure in the technology or the cash register system

“Because of the proven and reliable hardware of AURES and a stable and flexible cash register software from TCPOS, there have been no failures in the past two years. We immediately liked the design of SANGO, it harmonizes with additional components such as printers or customer displays. Our challenges are lack of space, heat, dirt, dust, etc. – SANGO is a fanless system, which makes it exceptionally robust” says Robert Bittner, responsible for the point-of-sale systems at Rubenbauer Holding GmbH. ” We looked for regional partners for software and hardware with fast response times and excellent first and second-level support.”

“With it´s design, the model SANGO visually integrates perfectly into our shops. The bright, customer-oriented 10″ monitors can be optimally used to make our customers aware of offers and promotions” enthuses Alexandra Maierhofer, Marketing Manager at Rubenbauer Holding GmbH.

Software & Hardware. Strong combination and stable performance

The entire POS system is controlled centrally from the headquarter in Munich on the basis of a database for all locations. The software solution and the cash register system are multifunctional for classic use at the POS and for restaurant operation – interfaces such as the central merchandise management, GL or digital price system etc, are integrated. Daniel Nowak, a Senior Sales Consultant at TCPOS GmbH, explains: “The special feature is the strong performance in the interaction of the software and the cash register system. It is, robust, functional and highly efficient. The combination is perfect and therefore it runs smoothly and harmoniously. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”

TCPOS App, the synergy that leads to success

$

Designed to be a white label solution that encompasses different functionalities such as the customer virtual card, the order & pick up and the possibility to order at the table, the TCPOS App was born thanks to the close collaboration among three companies belonging to Zucchetti Group.

TCPOS, Zucchetti’s POS specialists, Ovosodo, the Como-based web agency and KonaKart, the developers of eCommerce platforms, joined forces to conceive and create a product designed, at the moment, for the hospitality sector. The goal is to provide customers with a tool that guarantees engaging and simplified shopping experiences.

Given the importance of the project, different team members from TCPOS are collaborating to an app highly requested by the market, with its first release planned for January 2019.

The first part of the project has been developed by TCPOS headquarter in Manno to then involve the colleagues of the Austrian office, already responsible for the creation of an excellent prototype.

This operation is part of a bigger evolution of the TCPOS suite, that will include solutions oriented to different eCommerce aspects, destined to be more and more present in the life of final users.

This evolution will include both the app’s design and an important update of TCPOS portfolio’s products, like for example, the Order & Delivery online booking solution. Soon, it will also be able to accept prepaid cards, widening the application of the app to the business catering sector too, including the card’s dematerialization, integrated in the app itself.

The app, that will be available both for iOS and Android, will include many features, among which promotion management, allergens notifications, integration with social media and management of customer feedback. By collaborating day by day with KonaKart and Ovosodo’s colleagues, TCPOS will be able to provide clients with an ecosystem made of solutions that, by respecting TCPOS’s usability and flexibility standards, will offer an excellent product characterized by a high-level user experience, easily customizable by the client according to its company’s corporate image and business needs.

This collaboration has been completely inedited for Zucchetti Group and has showed the effectiveness of the iCore strategy. A strategy that presents itself on the market for the first time and that puts the POS system at the centre of a wider galaxy of solutions aimed at simplifying sales processes in restaurants and stores, at the same time guaranteeing an optimal organization of workflows and personnel management.

Neu: iCore integriert Retail-Prozesse

$

  • Zucchetti – Workforce Management, Mago – Warenwirtschaft / ERP Lösung

At this year’s EuroCIS, Zucchetti presents a brand new app for guests in restaurants and public catering. With its “menu”, “order” and “payment” sections, the app becomes the perfect menu planner for guests that want to choose their meals before actually getting to the restaurant or canteen. With the “TCApp” guests can in fact order and pay with their smartphone and the complete range of functionalities is seamlessly integrated in the existing POS system.

TCApp: When guests are in a hurry
Guests automatically receive the restaurant’s menu on their smartphone. All dishes are displayed digitally so guests can conveniently choose their meals before visiting the restaurant. The app also draws attention to any specialties and provides an overview of allergens and loyalty programs can be integrated. The app is available to iOS and Android users – that way guests can easily order and pay on the way.

Zucchetti’s TCPOS app is a white label solution i.e. clients can customize and adapt it to their own brand. It includes functionalities like the virtual customer card, order and collect as well as the possibility to order at the table.

“Same as with our other POS solutions in retail, the TCApp is based on the idea of omni-functionality paired with practical industry expertise. The app is designed to meet the needs of modern guests who expect maximum convenience in canteens, restaurants and public catering. It has been developed by experts of the hospitality industry.” explains Dirk Schwindling, CEO of Zucchetti GmbH.

From mobile and PayPal payments, to self-service checkouts, kiosks and staff planning: software house Zucchetti, the parent company of TCPOS, offers a wide range of solutions for this purpose.

The POS solution has been extended by the integration of the Zucchetti ERP solution Mago. Retailers will find a process-oriented logistics solution for stores: sales from the POS system have a direct impact on the stock and they automatically trigger further processes, such as subsequent deliveries from a central warehouse, purchase or manufacturing orders.

This helps companies achieving their goal of maintaining inventories and changes across different legal units in near real-time, thus making all inventories available across all channels.

The full integration of the systems streamlines the implementation so that both large corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises can design their universal channel processes more effectively.

Zucchetti presents TCPOS and Workforce Management @ Igeho 2019

$

At this year’s Igeho, Zucchetti will present its omni-functional solutions for Hospitality with which the guest experience can be automated online and offline. Some of the highlights are the new TCApp, the upgraded self-ordering kiosk, the automated dish recognition at the POS and integrated workforce management.

The Igeho is the most important international fair for hotels, hospitality, take-away and care institutions in Switzerland, that will take place from 16th to 20th November 2019 in Basel.

The omni-functional TCPOS solution is the center of Zucchetti’s presence this year in Hall 1.1, at Stand B135. It has been extended with many modern applications: the TCApp is a mobile app for paying and ordering, the Self-Ordering Kiosk modernizes orders in the quick service, Dish Recognition is an automated software for the recognition of food and drinks designed for public catering, and Infinity Zucchetti, the Human Capital Management suite, equipped with AI to improve the management of employees, from shift scheduling to Time & Attendance tracking. Everything is completely integrated in the iCore concept, Zucchetti’s strategy that helps caterers and vendors being supported by a software ecosystem in sales, services to guests and staff organization.

TCApp: mobile ordering and payments

Nowadays, the smartphone is a daily companion for many tasks. In hospitality, TCPOS offers an important benefit for customers: with TCApp, guests can order and pay at the restaurant. With this white label app, restaurant owners can offer their guests a convenient combination of menu reservations and the possibility to quickly pay with their mobile through an easy-to-use application.

Self-Ordering Kiosk for the quickest service

Another highlight is the self-ordering kiosk – it combines POS technology with intuitive self-order technology for quick service restaurants. Customers can place their orders at the kiosk and receive it at the counter, or they can take a puck with them to their table so waiters will be able to find them. The main focus in the development focused on the user experience – it was designed to be as comprehensive, uncomplicated and convenient as possible. The kiosk seamlessly integrates the placing of orders into the workflow: from orders in the kitchen over data transfer, up to the point of sale – easy, quick and convenient.

Automated dish recognition for corporate catering/restaurants

The new Dish Recognition is a computer system that uses a top-view camera to detect the food and drinks on the tray. The system works with the POS and helps accelerate the check-out process with automated dish recognition. Moreover, the entire solution is integrated with cashless payment methods such as company cards and other common cards.

Hi-Tech, innovative software solutions, top-notch services and happy customers: these are some synonyms of Zucchetti, an international group that, for many years now, has been rapidly expanding its influence in Europe promoting the iCore concept. iCore means helping our customers grow with a galaxy of applications ranging from POS, to HR management, ERP, Access control, and much more, providing a single point of contact for all their needs of digital transformation, simplified processes and maximised results.

The Retail business, a dynamic and multi-faceted reality, is not new for the group. For decades, our POS, ERP and HR solutions have been supporting many important brands worldwide but, considering the ever-increasing need of digital solutions, Zucchetti decided to establish a team of expert dedicated to study and design solutions that will lead Retail towards the future, the Retail Competence Center (RCC).

We asked a few questions to the representatives of the RCC.

Why was the Retail Competence Center established in the first place?

With the RCC, Zucchetti manifests its intention to expand its position in the retail market and to become a leading provider of solutions and services. We aim at covering the entire retail value chain, including solution-neutral consulting services. This will enable us to go beyond designing POS software, a sector where Zucchetti needs no introduction considering our important customer base.

Which are the tasks of the RCC and how is it organized?

With the acquisition of Data Connect and ReWa-Soft, the retail knowledge of our group was significantly boosted. These companies have been established for decades in the retail market and are both provided with first class customer references. Founding the RCC was a logical step forward.

The Center is guided by the team behind the former company Data Connect. Jürg Baumgartner leads a steering committee consisting of several country managers. Michael Fuchs is responsible for the technical side of all activities.

The tasks are the centralization of know-how, the bundling of market information and the international coordination of retail projects. The Center supports teams in different countries in key account and project management, pre-sale activities, and helps studying and launching innovation.

The first stage of the RCC work focuses on the DACH region with the intention to rapidly offer our expertise worldwide.

Which are the highlights of the current projects?

The RCC is currently in charge of developing a roadmap for the retail market. Ten different topics have currently been identified, which will now be specified and implemented. We can disclose further details to any colleague who wants to have more detailed and in-depth information.

What is the advantage for Zucchetti of having a retail-focused center?

The RCC shows customers that the retail market is strategical for Zucchetti and opens many new opportunities for sales teams to enter discussions with customers.

Zucchetti’s internal sales processes and projects can be more efficiently organized and enhanced with years of experience. For employees, the platform will provide a new identity and cooperation within a wider team. We are convinced that the RCC is useful for Zucchetti’s partner companies, which can count on us as a unique coordination point.

Where do you think the RCC can fully express its expertise in the Zucchetti family?

We analysed our structures in detail – Says Dirk Schwindling, CEO of Zucchetti Switzerland SA –  Zucchetti has several decades of experience through the acquisition of TCPOS, RewaSoft and Data Connect in the retail market made by software designers, developers, project managers, sales forces. Under the roof of Zucchetti, we bring together companies that bring several decades of market experience. The most experienced employees from these teams are involved in the project. We already have common clients today and we combine all this into a formula for the success of our customers. In cooperation with the Zucchetti Innovation LAB, we will be able to do design a joint innovation roadmap and, in the future, closely coordinated joint concepts.

Based on more than 30 years of experience in the Catering and Vending markets, Paycult is a trusted, reliable and recognized partner for its proven capabilities in consulting, software, hardware and services.

Since its inception, the company rapidly established itself as a leading, innovative manufacturer and service provider in the German Catering and Vending markets. The company has branches near Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt and its production office is located in Weingarten.

Zucchetti, one of the major players in the IT sector in Europe, recently acquired Paycult, adding a wide variety of payment systems to its already rich portfolio that includes applications for HR management, POS and Access control solutions.

Together, Zucchetti and Paycult own today’s largest installation base in the area of corporate catering in Germany. However, this collaboration comes from far away: the two companies have now been business partners for more than ten years and the collaboration has always been effective, trusting and friendly.

The extensive know-how of Paycult employees poses the foundation for a successful cooperation with numerous clients in the catering and vending industry, exploiting Paycult expertise in both cash and cashless payments, covering all company needs 360 degrees.

“Business takes place between people” says Helmuth Butt, CEO of Paycult. “I am very sure that this maxim will also apply to the newly formed bond between Zucchetti and Paycult! The acquisition of Paycult by Zucchetti is the logical consequence of over one decade of trusting and successful cooperation.

“The acquisition is a sign of Zucchetti’s continued evolution in the European key segments”, affirms Dirk Schwindling, CEO of Zucchetti Germany GmbH, “The know-how of the employees and the quality of products support our strategy to make highly integrated solutions available to the market. The acquisition of Paycult is extremely important for the “transformation” of TCPOS into Zucchetti, both from the product and the corporate side of things”.

“Paycult products have always matched all payment needs of Zucchetti’s clients using our POS solutions”, explains Schwindling, “We have been collaborating for decades and often felt as we belonged together, so it was natural to finally join forces under the Zucchetti brand”.

“The acquisition of Paycult helps Zucchetti to place its expertise in the catering and vending sector”, continues Schwindling, “with the help of an experienced and respected provider and we strengthen and anchor our presence in the German market, aiming to expand it day by day”.
